Working in partnership with the NHS

Concept Group works in partnership with the NHS to provide flexible and cost-effective solutions that meet the needs of a variety of healthcare providers, at a time when space and budgets are at a premium. We are ready to support you in achieving your construction goals, whether they involve renovation, refurbishment, new builds, maintenance or building services such as plumbing, heating and air-conditioning.

Concept's in-house teams have the skills, training and experience to operate in hygienic and sensitive environments and are accustomed to working on 'live' sites within hospitals, clinics, surgeries and other healthcare venues. All our employees have passed Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, some at Enhanced level, enabling them to work around vulnerable adults and children; and all carry up-to-date health and safety, manual handling, asbestos awareness and other specialist construction qualifications.

We deliver projects to help improve the surroundings of patients and staff alike, while increasing the efficiency, productivity and usability of your facilities. We work with you from conception and design through to final handover, and understand that timely delivery within budget is paramount.

Recent NHS contracts undertaken by Concept Group include the remodelling of a clinic Reception and offices at St. Catherine's Hospital in Birkenhead, where we manufactured desks and consoles to match the contemporary styling of the rest of the building; and the completion of major alterations at Middleton Ambulance Station in Manchester, which involved refurbishment, re-roofing and refitting of the whole premises.
