Complete refurbishment of the old existing ambulance station. A new venture project working with a new client, Frank Whittle Partnerships.
The project was a full strip out of all existing items along with remodelling of the vehicle workshop areas into new canteen and rest areas for staff. Existing concrete floor were taken out and replaced with a fully insulated concrete floor slab installed. The office areas received a full makeover, along with new flooring, lighting and decorations.
Externally the building received a complete new roofing fabric along with new fascia boarding and rain water goods. Additional window openings were formed, and old doorways blocked up. New drainage runs were installed to facilitate the new shower areas that have been created within the building.
A new heating system was installed along with new shower facilities and hot water supplies.
